Linda has had nine years experience in the Vocational Education Training environment most recently as Marketing and Product Development Manager at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE and prior to that as Associate Dean of a private training College. Formally held senior Management roles in the Tourism industry throughout Australian and several overseas posting. Linda brings to Skilling Solutions Queensland a passion for Vocational Education and high standards in customer service. |
Peita Lavis - Executive Officer
Peita Lavis has been with the Department of Education, Training and the Arts since 2007, previously working in VET Resource Management as a Project Finance Officer. Prior to this, Peita worked in private and publicly listed companies in Financial, Administration and Human Resources roles.

Kelly Shead - Training and Development Officer
Kelly Shead has been leading teams in the customer service environment for over seven years with the Department of Employment and Training. She has a background in psychology and is especially keen to contribute to the success of Skilling Solutions Queensland.

Callie Evans - Marketing Officer
Callie Evans commenced employment with the Department of Employment and Training as a trainee in 1999. Prior to joining the Skilling Solutions Queensland team, Callie worked at both the Open Learning and Yeronga Institutes of TAFE. Roles included Administration Officer, Customer Care Officer, Business Development Officer and Manager Customer Service Centre.

Stephen Faifai - Team Leader, Hyperdome Customer service Centre
Recently from New Zealand, Stephen has more than 17 years in the Education and Training field. He has managed a private training provider, was the national project manager for a workplace learning project with secondary schools and has led several teams working in the tertiary sector. Stephen believes strongly in customer service and helping people to achieve their goals.

Ian Cook - Team Leader, Chermside Customer Service Centre
Ian joined Skilling Solutions Qld in May 2006, with a background of employment in the education sector (both teaching and administration). He has also had 9 years experience in the field of retail and small business management. Ian thoroughly enjoys working in the area of customer service and is passionate about providing information that will assist customers make the most appropriate choices for themselves regarding their training and career pathway.

Leanne Santos – Team Leader, South Brisbane Customer Service Centre
Leanne joins Skilling Solutions Queensland after 2 ˝ years working in the International Sales and Marketing Team at Southbank Institute of Technology. Originally from Canada, Leanne relocated to Australia after a career managing a large team onboard luxury cruise liners. Prior to joining DETA in 2005, Leanne worked as a recruitment consultant sourcing candidates from Australia and New Zealand for cruise line employment. With a diverse background in hospitality, recruitment and sales, Leanne has a strong customer service focus and is keen to lead the South Brisbane Team in assisting Skilling Solutions Queensland customers succeed in today’s job market.

Brendan Wright - Team Leader, Loganlea Customer Service Centre
Brendan has extensive experience in the Employment Services and Training Industries. Brendan has achieved outstanding results in coaching employment services staff for peak performance in the Job Network. Prior to this Brendan worked successfully with thousands of long term unemployed and disadvantaged candidates as a Case Manager. With his knowledge of the Employment and Training industry, Brendan brings a practical knowledge of how to find employment and a network of training organisations and employers willing to help everyday Queenslanders to achieve their personal and professional goals. Brendan's professional interests involve assisting people realise their full potential through access to relevant training and employment opportunities.

Haley Dell – Team Leader, Capalaba Customer Service Centre
Haley brings 6 years experience in the training industry and over 15 years supervisory experience in customer service related environments. Haley most recently spent 3 years as the Operations Supervisor of the Learning and Development section within a local government department, sourcing and delivering training in vast and varied industry specific fields. Prior to this Haley was a Senior Business Administration Trainer within a large Queensland registered training organisation. Haley’s primary focus is to ensure that an exceptional level of customer service is maintained by staff and that the information provided by Skilling Solutions is accurate and relevant to the customers needs.

Christina Post - Team Leader, Southport Customer Service Centre
Christina has a strong background in customer service in the retail, finance and call centre industries. Christina has 5 years experience leading, supervising and coaching customer service teams. Christina is passionate about quality customer service and successfully implemented and maintained a call quality monitoring system to measure and improve the standard of over 200 customer service representatives. Christina is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychology at University and believes incontinually learning and developing new skills. Christina enjoys helping people reach their potential and is excited about promoting Skilling Solutions Queensland on the Gold Coast.

Donna Constable - Team Leader, Hervey Bay Customer Service Centre
Donna has recently joined Skilling Solutions Qld. Prior to joining SSQ, Donna held a role within the Department of State Development as a Senior Business Development Officer. Originally from Orange NSW, Donna's background includes working as a Call Centre Manager with Telstra for 14 years and 4 years experience as a Contract Manager for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Donna and her team are looking forward to providing Skilling Solutions Qld's products and services to the community of Hervey Bay.

Donna McMah – Team Leader, Bundaberg Customer Service Centre
Donna has a background in administration and management and has worked in a variety of private and public sector organisations including TAFE Queensland, Central Queensland University and State Development. This work experience has provided Donna with knowledge of education and training systems and industry requirements in the Bundaberg area. Donna has a strong belief in delivering first rate customer service and helping others to achieve their goals through training and education opportunities. She is looking forward to leading the team in Bundaberg deliver Skilling Solutions Queensland services and help our customers succeed. |
Kim Dawson, Team Leader – Caboolture Customer Service Centre
Kim has worked in the areas of training and employment services for a number of years, with a background in coordinating youth related services and skill shortage projects. Throughout her employment history Kim has always focussed on being flexible to the needs of the individual and in providing customer service that is relevant, genuine and effective. With an interest in strengthening communities, Kim and the team at Morayfield are focussing on making a significant difference, by providing assistance and support to Caboolture, Pine Rivers, Redcliffe and the Sunshine Coast. |
Gayle Kruger, Team Leader – Cairns Customer Service Centre
Gayle Kruger has been leading teams in the customer service environment for over 13 years with Telstra, Tropical North Queensland TAFE and Queensland Health. She has a background in change management and is very keen to contribute to the skills and knowledge of north queenslanders to ensure that the region continues to prosper and grow from the services provided by Skilling Solutions Queensland. Gayle's roles at TAFE have given her a wealth of knowledge of the requirements of the VET sector and the many and varied training packages available for our customers. |
Veronica Cowley, Team Leader – Rockhampton Customer Service Centre
Veronica brings to Skilling Solutions Queensland experience and knowledge from working in both the private and public sector. Her last appointment was with The Department of Education Training and the Arts as a Field Officer which heightened her already extensive knowledge from years of working as a Childcare Director and an Apprenticeship Consultant. With this experience, Veronica and her friendly, professional team are looking forward to focusing on the customer as an individual, giving them accurate information relevant to their situation to obtain the best possible outcome. |
Sandy Walsh, Team Leader – Gladstone Customer Service Centre
Sandy has worked in vocational education for 14 years at the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE, mainly at the Gladstone campus. Employed for many years as the Supervisor of the Client Services Centre, Sandy’s major focus has always been making customers happy. She then went on to become the Institute Registered Trainer for ISAS, training staff in Gladstone, Rockhampton and Mackay. More recently, she coordinated, monitored and assessed 67 school and work based business trainees as the Workplace Training Officer. With the team in Gladstone Sandy is looking forward to assisting customers in fulfilling their dreams. |
Amanda Sycz, Team Leader – Ipswich Customer Service Centre
Amanda comes to Skilling Solutions Queensland from a strong background in Queensland Health. Her role in Health was to provide excellent and timely customer service at an Executive level and she was also appointed to Project Management roles. Her most recent role within Health was to lead and coordinate three core Administrative areas which provided excellent customer service to clients. Throughout her working life Amanda has been in frontline customer service areas and has a passion for helping people to succeed in their endeavours. She believes it is never too late to be what you want to be. She is thrilled to be a part of the dynamic team that is Skilling Solutions Queensland. |
Dave Robinson, Team Leader – Townsville Customer Service Centre
Dave Robinson commenced his employment with the Department of Employment and Training in 2003. Since his commencement he has performed a number of different roles which has enabled him to gain a good understanding of the VET system. Previous to this he held various positions in the transport sector for over 20 years. High on Dave's list of priorities is quality customer service and one of his favourite sayings is "We are in business for the customer, for without the customer, we have no business". Dave looks forward to being able to help people realise their potential by gaining qualifications for their experience. |
Wendy Mogg, Team Leader – Toowoomba Customer Service Centre
Wendy Mogg has over 20 years experience in the employment and training sector. She has worked as a job placement officer, case manager, a project officer within TAFE, and as the manager of a very successful Australian Apprenticeships Centre. She has a strong knowledge of the labour market in Toowoomba and surrounding districts, having lived and worked in the region for most of her life. Wendy believes providing quality customer service is the key to success, and ensuring that each customer is treated as an individual. Wendy leads a team committed to helping people fulfil their potential. |
